John Francis are pleased to be part of the Ombudsman for Estate Agents (OEA) Scheme which provides an independent service dealing with disputes between member agencies and consumers relating to buying, selling or letting of residential properties in the UK. Sales and purchases are governed by a code which has been approved by the Office of Fair Trading. Lettings are governed by a separate code though John Francis is not involved in the letting of property. The Ombudsman is independent of member agencies and provides a free, fair and speedy review of complaints following its terms of reference.
