The requirements for Home Information Packs vary and not all properties require them though most residential properties do or will require Home Information Packs and an Energy Performance Certificate before exchange of Contracts can take place.

The options to you the seller are to instruct your own Solicitor to produce a pack and we are happy to deal with local Solicitors in this way. If your Solicitor is unable to arrange for an Energy Performance Certificate (which is an essential part of a HIP) this element can be arranged through John Francis as we have our own employed staff who are qualified Domestic Energy Assessors.

The alternative is to allow John Francis to arrange a Home Information Pack which will be readily available and can be viewed online on our Website thereby providing the greatest ease and access to as many potential purchasers as possible.
