Haverfordwest is the attractive and historic county town of Pembrokeshire. From the middle ages, the town took advantage of its position on the Cleddau and as a result it had a very busy tidal quay. Today, the town still has a thriving commercial and retail sector. The town has been English-speaking for centuries (south Pembrokeshire being known as 'Little England beyond Wales'), but because the town markets traded the goods of Welsh farmers to the north and east, there has always been a significant Welsh-speaking influence.
Haverfordwest town is positioned centrally to some beautiful location such as Broad Haven beach with its wide sweep of golden sand and virtually alongside the smaller village of Little Haven. Dale and Marloes are interesting villages and both are en-route to some of the most famous bird sanctuary islands in Europe such as Skomer and Skokholm, both of which teem with an unbelievable variety of seabirds. North of the county the scenery becomes more rugged. Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, with its wonderful cathedral nestling in a picturesque valley, nearby is the golden Whitesands Bay. On the way to St Davids from Haverfordwest you will pass the long beach of Newgale, a mecca for local surfing. Haverfordwest is perfectly located to explore Britain’s only coastal National Park. The magnificent coastline can be seen at its best from the Coastal Path, a designated National Trail, stretching 186 miles from Amroth in the South to St Dogmaels in the North. It is Britain’s most westerly National Park and one of the most precious environmental areas in Europe.

To whom it may concern, Having had an offer accepted on a property of recent we have now (hopefully!) drawn our property search to a close. Before we do, we would like to put forward to yourselves how impressed we were with Lily and the service we have received in her care. We have spent over 3 months attending viewings, liaising with various agents and carrying out all general points of initial contact and found ourselves persistently chasing up offers after days of the unknown, dealing with agents that didn’t seem to understand how to negotiate between both vendor and buyer, agents that simply did not respond to emails, agents that knew nothing about the property they were supposedly selling to us and also those who were (to be polite!) just awfully rude. However, Lily was a breath of fresh air to this and we are absolutely gutted that we didn’t end up buying via herself. Lily really put the effort in, was the first agent during the entire stint that emailed us to query our budget, wants and needs. She also really took the time to understand what it was we were after following on from that. Lily was the first agent to actually invite us to a viewing without our request ! This was a property that we wouldn’t of ever considered having seen it on zoopla however we trusted judgment and when I arrived I absolutely adored the potential. We did go on to have a second viewing and further make an offer which was unfortunately too low for our vendor - however that doesn’t diminish the fact that Lily used initiative and got the property absolutely spot on. As soon as the offer was was put forward we received contact, we also received a courtesy phone call before the offer decline email was sent to soften the blow - just general above and beyond work, professional, polite and totally refreshing to what we had experienced so far. We do hope that Lily has gains a bit of recognition from this email - we can honestly say first hand that staff like this are clearly few and far between in today’s climate ! And are definitely staff to look after. Of course, we are hoping that our house purchase goes smoothly however if it was to fall though we know who we would contact as first port of call. We will be giving Lily an email once we have renovated this next property and it is ready for sale, we couldn’t think of anyone better to hand the reins too. Kinda regards
