Dear Peter, I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know what a wonderful job Shaun has done on my recent mortgage application. I've had the house purchase from hell- 319 days from offer accepted until receiving keys yesterday (no chain on either side either!) and naturally my original mortgage offer expired midway through that marathon. Shaun was recommended to me by Alice, who works in the Walter Road branch of John Francis as being really efficient and good at his job. I went to see him on Monday lunchtime, the application was in by Tuesday lunchtime and everything was approved by the following Monday. This was despite Shaun taking time off from Wednesday that first week for knee surgery. He worked really efficiently and got me a better deal than I had originally, as well as still being available to answer my questions from his hospital bed. We used John Francis to sell our property in 2016. When we engaged JF, the house had been on the market for 6 months with Purple Bricks and we had very little to show for it. Purple Bricks were not helpful and their only strategy to move the property as to reduce the price. With JF suddenly, we had plenty of interest and viewings from the beginning. They had found us a buyer within 3 months at a price we wanted. We smoothly sold our house shortly after. John Francis were organised, helpful and polite. This is just a short email concerning the sale of my property, I would just like to note how smooth John Francis made the marketing, viewings and sale of the property. Having dealt with Andrea and Connor throughout the process, I can highly recommend the service provided by both of these individuals and they are a credit to John Francis. Andrea in particular draws on her experience within the sector and never fails to ensure she coveys a happy, positive and upbeat attitude throughout the process, especially during the sometimes low and difficult times that can occur during a sale. She handles herself professionally and with the right amount of personal touch and friendliness to put you at ease however difficult the situation may be and invests herself on a personal level with a desire to ensure all parties concerned are happy with the view to achieving the best possible outcome for all. While I cannot recall her name, the original valuation agents was a pleasure to deal with and refreshingly honest, having had valuations completed by 3 local estate agents, the choice to go with John Francis solely came down to this interaction. One of the other agents in particular provided a very heavy and uncomfortable sales pitch, I felt he vastly inflated the valuation simply to 'sell' his services, akin to the stereotypical double glazing salesman, but John Francis did not employ such an approach, please keep this up! I realise I stated this would be a short email, but as Andrea and Connor know well by now, I can rattle on! Thank you once again.
