Selling and buying property by auction remained ever popular in 2020 despite just the Covid situation. Our first auction of 2020 was held just before March lockdown and we then cancelled our next two auctions. We held our first ever Online Auction in September and closed our auctions for 2020 on December 9th with another successfull Online Auction.
All three auctions we held in 2020 proved to be a great success and we are now taking entries for our first auction of 2021 which will be Online on March 3rd and plan five auctions this year.
This is what a client wrote following an auction -
'. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Louise and her team in the Sketty branch. After having a considerable amount of difficulty selling our property and encountering all manner of issues, the team came to the rescue by placing the property in auction. With the auction being online and the estate agent not having held a remote based auction previously, I was naturally sceptical on how it would go. Louise maintained weekly contact with me providing timely updates on progress and the level of interest in the property from the time of advertising through to the successful sale, which was so reassuring and helped me stay positive.
The team did an excellent job of marketing the property to obtain a high level of interest, which paid of during the auction, as it proved to be a very competitive bidding process, helping achieve significantly more than the guide price.
In future I will be recommending the services of John Francis and more so of the auction process.
Thank you all so much.'
You are assured that with our auction our staff are well motivated, trained and experienced in dealing with auction properties. A sale by auction is not for everyone, but it does give transparency and it is something that a good agent should be able to recommend to a seller when carrying out a market appraisal. At John Francis, all our managers are trained and therefore you are assured of being given the best advice on method of sale should you ask us to value your property.
